Is This You?

Who Is This For?

Who This Is For:

  • You own a trades business (HVAC, plumbing, concrete, electrical, roofing, refrigeration or fencing) doing $1M or more a year.
  • Your tax bill keeps growing, and the only fix anyone has offered is buying a truck or equipment in December.
  • Your accountant only shows up at filing time, and an email can sit for weeks before you get an answer.
  • Your company is an S-corp, but the salary you pay yourself was a guess or was set years ago.
  • Your books are a few months behind, or you keep them yourself in QuickBooks after the jobs are done.
  • You want one firm handling your books, your tax strategy and your returns, with someone who knows your numbers every month.

This Is Not For:

  • Employees with W-2 income and no business of their own.
  • Trades businesses doing under $1M a year.
  • Owners who only want a return filed once a year and nothing else.
  • Anyone looking for a scheme that promises zero tax.

What We've Delivered

drop in his tax bill in one year
$250,000 in 2024About $40,000 in 2025

He got hit with a $250,000 tax bill for 2024. We built his strategy well before the next year ended, and his 2025 bill came in at about $40,000. A single state-level election for his S-corp saved about $30,000 of that.

100% Done-For-You

Here's Everything We Do For You

Here's how Nick takes a trades business from a surprise tax bill to a lower number on the return you sign.

We Catch Up Your Books

We bring your bookkeeping current and reconcile every account first, because every move that lowers your bill has to be backed by real numbers. After that, we keep the books updated every month.

We Review Business And Household Together

Nick goes through your business and your personal return side by side: your S-corp salary, how your entities are set up, your retirement plan, real estate you already own and your state's elections.

We Set Up Your Reimbursements

Once you're a corporation, your company should pay you back for your home office, phone and mileage. We put the written plan and the monthly reimbursements in place the right way.

Every Change Made By December 31st

We carry out every move before the year closes, including the payroll updates, the election filings and all of the paperwork, so nothing waits until it's too late to count.

We File Both Returns

We prepare and file your business return and your 1040 with every one of those savings on them, and we walk you through the forms so you know exactly what you're signing.

You Get A Fractional CFO

One standing call every month, a KPI dashboard built around your business, and access to Nick between calls, so you see the numbers before you hire, buy equipment or raise prices.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to buy a truck or equipment before December 31st to lower my taxes?+
No. If you need the truck, buy the truck, but buying something you don't need just to shrink the bill leaves you with payments for years after the deduction is used up. A lot of the savings owners miss don't cost anything to set up: your S-corp salary, how your company reimburses you, your state's elections and property you already own.
I already have an S-corp. Isn't that handled?+
Making the election was a good first step, but what saves you money is how the S-corp gets run. Most owners pay themselves a salary that was picked years ago or guessed, and that number affects your payroll tax, your other deductions and how much you can put into a retirement plan. We set it from your real numbers and adjust it as the business grows.
My books are behind. Can you still plan my taxes?+
Yes. Messy books don't rule you out; they're usually the first thing we fix. We catch them up, reconcile every account and keep them current every month after that, so your strategy is built on real numbers instead of a guess.
Do you file the returns too, or just the planning?+
Both. We keep your books, build the strategy during the year, carry it out before December 31st, and file the business return and your 1040 with the savings on them. Having one firm do all of it means nothing falls through the gap between two vendors waiting on each other.
When will I actually see the savings?+
The changes have to be in place by December 31st to count for this year. The savings show up when your returns for the year are filed, so the lower number is printed on the return you sign.
How does the "or you don't pay" part work?+
If the work doesn't save your trades business at least $100K in taxes this year, you don't pay. Nick lays out the exact terms, and what they cover, on the strategy call before you commit to anything.
What does it cost?+
The fractional CFO retainer starts at $1,500 a month, bookkeeping starts at $500 a month and business returns start at $1,000. Your exact fee depends on the size of your books and your setup, and it's quoted up front on the strategy call.
I'm not in Wisconsin. Can you still work with me?+
Yes. The firm is based in Green Bay and works with trades owners all over the country. Everything runs online, from uploading documents to the monthly CFO call, and you'll hear from us before you have to ask.
One Last Step

Want To See How Much Your Trades Business Could Save This Year?

On the strategy call, Nick goes through last year's returns with you, points to where your business is likely overpaying, and tells you about how much we think we can save you before December 31st. If we're not a fit, you'll hear that straight from him and still leave with one thing you can act on right away.
